Is he leaving or is he staying?
That is the big question in regards to Jim Harbaugh and his current position as head coach of the University of Michigan football team. And the answer to that question is one that is extremely important to potential recruits, including many who have already committed to the Wolverines.
On Monday, Harbaugh spoke to the media and he was asked about whether that question comes up when he is talking with recruits. Harbaugh said that the question does come up and that he tells the recruits that he is committed to Michigan.
Harbaugh also added that as far as his contract goes, the “truth” is that he will discuss it with Warde Manuel after the season is over.
“Yeah, that question does come up,” Harbaugh said. “Tell them my plan is committed to Michigan. I have been and will remain. As far as the (contract), we’ll sit down, Warde Manuel and I will talk at the end of the season on the current contract. That’s the truth. That’s where it stands.”
“Been having conversations as we always do,” Harbaugh said. “Been very excited to sign the national letter of intent. It’s been a lifelong dream to do that and excited to sign with Michigan.”
Nation, if you were committed to Michigan, would you consider decommitting based on the fact that there is not yet a solid answer as to whether or not Harbaugh will be with the program for the next four years?
