The Michigan Wolverines dropped their second game of the year on Saturday to the Penn State Nittany Lions in front of a raucous crowd at State College.

While the loss was yet another setback for the Wolverines, quarterback Shea Patterson did pass for 276 yards and led a comeback effort in the second half that fell just short. He finished 24-41 with one rushing touchdown.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh was quick to praise his QB, saying he'd been playing “great” football. He then took it a step further.
"Shea's been playing great football, heroic even" — Harbaugh
