JUST IN: Michigan lands 2020 tight end recruit

Michigan Football just got some good news Sunday night!

2020 TE Matthew Hibner announced his commitment to the Wolverines, sharing the news on his Twitter account.

“I was and still am definitely very excited and super psyched (about the U-M offer),” Hibner told The Michigan Insider’s Brice Marich in May. “It felt pretty unreal, to be honest. It’s just a really cool unexplainable feeling when all the work you’re putting in is paying off. Like a wave of satisfaction where I knew its been worth it.”

According to 247Sports, the 6-foot-4, 230-lb Hibner is ranked the No. 1012 overall prospect in the 2020 class, the No. 42 tight end in the nation and the No. 19 player in the state of Virginia.

Michigan secured the commitments of Zak Zinter, Nikhai Hill-Green and Braiden McGregor last month.
