Detroit Lions an odds on favorite to land Steelers’ All-Pro Antonio Brown

There is trouble in the Steel City and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown seems to be right square in the middle of it.

On Thursday, Steelers owner Art Rooney II claimed it would be “hard to envision” Brown being with the team for training camp. He also added that though the former Central Michigan University standout will not be released, “all other options are on the table.”

“There’s not much we can do right now; we have time to make a decision,” Rooney said in his first public comments since Brown skipped out on practices and team meetings leading up to the Dec. 30 game at Heinz Field. “We’ll look at all the options. We’re not going to release him, that’s not on the table. But I will say all other options are on the table.

“Whether the situation can be reconciled and have him back on the team next year, we’re a long way away from thinking that can happen. We’re not closing the door on anything at this point.”

Brown responded to Rooney’s comments by posting a cryptic tweet showing him and Rooney shaking hands with the caption, “Good Business #Boomin”.

Whether that tweet means, “nice doing business with you, see ya,” or “this is good business that will continue into the future,” only Brown knows. That being said, it does not seem like there is much of a chance that Brown is catching passes from Steelers’ quarterbacks in 2019.

So, the question is, if not with the Steelers, where will Brown play moving forward?

Well, MyBookie.com has released odds for that exact scenario and the Detroit Lions (+500) are considered one of the favorites to land the perennial Pro Bowl receiver, just behind the Atlanta Falcons (+400).

Nation, would you want to see Antonio Brown catching passes from Matthew Stafford? If so, what would you be willing to give up to get him?
