By now, you are certainly familiar with what went down in the desert this past Sunday.
But, in case you have been locked in a soundproof room, Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions somehow managed to blow an 18-point fourth-quarter lead before eventually tying the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 of the 2019 regular season.

Late in the game, with the game on the line, Stafford took the snap on a third-down play that surely would have worked…had a timeout not been called by the Lions' sideline. (Head coach Matt Patricia insists it was his call)
After returning from the timeout, Stafford threw an incomplete pass on a poor play call for the situation at hand and as he came off the field he was visably upset.
Stafford was shown on camera yelling, “Trust me! Trust me” at the Lions coaches.
On Wednesday, Stafford was asked about the “trust me” situation and he made it clear that he has already moved past it.
“I'm not worried about that, to be honest with you, we've moved past it, probably better than you guys have,” Stafford said.
