It looks like Detroit Lions’ QB Matthew Stafford’s day is done after he suffered an ankle injury during Saturday’s game vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Stafford has been seen on the sidelines with a mask on and an ear piece in, getting hugs from trainers and coaches. Birkett believes Stafford is done for the day.
Stafford with a mask on and ear piece in, getting hugs from trainers and position coaches (Hank Fraley), still limping heavily with a huge tape job on that right ankle. His day is clearly done.
