Michigan State Spartans land commitment from 3-star safety Jah’von Grigsby

The Michigan State Spartans and head coach Mel Tucker have landed their latest commitment.

3-star safety Jah’von Grigsby of Scotlandville (Louisiana) Magnet has officially committed to the Spartans, announcing his decision on social media:

He had been fielding offers from Auburn, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Louisville, and Kansas among others. During his junior year in Louisiana, he amassed 66 tackles and two interceptions, including one for a touchdown.

He’s now the 3rd commit in the past month for the Spartans along with Geno VanDeMark and Alex Okelo.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he’s the 52nd-ranked safety nationally, and 703rd overall.
