At 17-0, the No. 2 ranked University of Michigan basketball team is cruising. In fact, with a win on Saturday at Wisconsin, the Wolverines have a chance to claim the No. 1 spot in America after Duke dropped a game at home to Syracuse earlier in the week.
One of the biggest reasons for Michigan’s success is freshman sensation, Ignas Brazdeikis.
If you have followed “Iggy” this season, you have noticed the same thing everyone else has noticed, he is confident (almost cocky) both on and off the basketball court.
Brazdeikis showed that confidence once again on Friday when he called out who most would agree is the most talented team in the nation, the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils and fellow freshman phenom, Zion Williamson.
Iggy Brazdeikis, in typically confident fashion, says he wants a shot at #Duke — and says he'd love to guard Zion. "They got that No. 1 team and that No. 1 hype, and we feel like we're definitely better than them. … I'm not scared about no competition. I'll guard anyone."

If Michigan matches up against Duke this season, it would not be until the NCAA Tournament, where both the Wolverines and Blue Devils are currently projected as 1 seeds.
Nation, what do you think about Brazdeikis calling out Duke? Do you believe the Wolverines would beat them?
