Michigan’s top offensive lineman Jalen Mayfield opts out of 2020 season

According to Michigan offensive lineman Jalen Mayfield, he is opting out of the 2020 season and entering the 2021 NFL Draft.

“These last few weeks have been filled with stress and have put me in a place where I have a difficult decision to make,” Mayfield tweeted out on Tuesday. “With that being said, I have decided to enter the 2021 NFL draft. Forever go blue!”

Mayfield was expected to anchor the Wolverines’ offensive line and this will be a huge loss if a season is played.
