Though he never managed to haul in a catch with the Detroit Lions, Bradley Marquez picked up his first hit of the season on Monday in his debut with the Columbia Fireflies.

Marquez, who dressed for two games with the Lions over the past two seasons, went 1-for-4 with a double in his first game.

Marquez was originally drafted by the New York Mets in the 16th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft.
Prior to Monday’s game, Marquez had played in 36 minor league games between 2012 and 2013, where he batted .254 with one home run and 11 RBIs.
