On Monday morning, we were shocked to have to report that the Detroit Lions had fired special teams coordinator, Brayden Coombs.
Now, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Lions have promoted Marquice Williams to take over as their special teams coordinator. Williams was previously the assistant special teams' coach.
