By now, you have almost certainly seen how the Detroit Lions scored on the final play of the game on Sunday to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 23-22.
On that play, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford found tight end T.J. Hockenson, who was wide open, for the game-winner.
But did the NFL officials try to screw the Lions?
@thegibb2 on Twitter has us wondering what the hell happened just prior to the final play of the game as the ball was first spotted at the 8-yard line after a Kenny Golladay catch but then respotted at the 11-yard line following the review.
I fell like a conspiracy theorist even though the @Lions won. Kenny Golladay caught the ball at the 8 yard line and after review the refs spotted the final play at the 11 yard line. Can we get an explanation? @Justin_Rogers @kmeinke @BenjaminSRaven @davebirkett @DetroitOnLion

Here is a look at the original spot and then the spot following the review.
Hey @NFL @nflcommish @NFLOfficiating,
Wanna explain this one to me? pic.twitter.com/dkyS216JHT

Nation, you be the judge. What were the referees trying to do here?
