Earlier today, the Detroit Lions announce that seven of their eight 2022 NFL Draft picks had officially signed their rookie contracts.
One of those players who signed is third-round pick, Kerby Joseph, who signed his 4-year rookie deal.
Well, according to multiple reports, Joseph's contract has been disapproved by the NFL.
Birkett notes that there will be no changes in the numbers in the contract and Joseph will still get the max value for a third-round pick. But first, the Lions will have to fix some of the workout bonus language in the contract.
No change in the numbers to the Joseph contract. He still gets max value for a third-round pick. Just have to fix some workout bonus language. Everyone can rest easy. https://t.co/7pnjiCZNWT

Just three days ago, the same thing happened to the Pittsburgh Steelers as second-round pick Bryan Cook also had his contract disapproved and it had to be re-filed.
