Detroit Lions fans have a by week this week but that does not mean we don’t have some very important work to do on Saturday afternoon!
In fact, the one game Lions fans should do their best to tune into begins at noon ET and features two of the top quarterback prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft class.
Those quarterbacks are Malik Willis (Liberty) and Matt Corral (Ole Miss). Willis and Corrall will go head-to-head beginning at noon on the SEC Network and if you can figure out a way to tune in, you are in for a treat.
Willis is a QB we at DSN have been hyping since before anyone else and our opinion has only grown stronger as time has gone by. Willis has amazing arm strength but what makes him so appealing at the NFL level is his ability to make plays with his feet when need be. There is no doubt in my mind that Willis is QB1 in the Class of 2022.
If Willis is QB1, Matt Corral is likely QB2 in the Class of 2022. Corral also had a solid arm that will play well in the NFL and his feet are quick enough to help him keep some plays alive. That being said, he does not have the overall athletic ability that Willis has, which is why he would be my second option, at this point.
