One player Detroit Lions fans should watch closely in today’s New Orleans Bowl

On Saturday at 9:15 p.m. ET, Louisiana will take on Marshall in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

If you are a fan of the Detroit Lions, there is one player you should be paying close attention to he is Louisiana RT Max Mitchell.

The Lions currently have two solid tackles in Penei Sewell and Taylor Decker but as we have seen, injuries happen and depth is important in the NFL.

Look for Mitchell to be a Day 2 pick and I expect him to compete for a starting spot if he is selected by the correct team.

Mitchell is #74 in the video below. These highlights are from 2020 and he was even more consistent in 2021.
