Pistons’ Bruce Brown expected to start at point guard against Wizards

The Detroit Pistons second-year guard Bruce Brown Jr. looks poised to make his second straight start at point guard for tonight's game against the Washington Wizards.

According to Keith Langlois of NBA.com, Tim Frazier is likely doubtful for tonight's game.

With Reggie Jackson expected to be on the shelf for a month while dealing with a back injury and fellow point guard Derrick Rose already listed as out for tonight's game due to a hamstring injury, Head Coach Dwane Casey will look in Brown's direction once again for the starting nod.

Brown was inserted into the starting lineup in their last game, a win against the Brooklyn Nets. He did not disappoint with a career-high 22 points while adding seven assists while playing 40 minutes. Brown also played point guard during Summer League and averaged 13.5 points, 8 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game.
