Preseason AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll released

It may only be October, but on Monday, the Preseason AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll was released, and as the defending National Champion Kansas Jayhawks are ranked No. 5 to start the season.

As far as the Big Ten goes, their highest-ranked team is Indiana, who comes in at No. 13 in the preseason poll. The Michigan Wolverines, who will look to get back to the NCAA Tournament once again, come in at No. 22, while Michigan State is not ranked to start the season.

Who is in the AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll?

As you can see below, four teams received at least one first-place vote in the preseason poll, with North Carolina leading the way with 47.
