The Red Wings, who had been off for six days due to their Dec. 23 game postponement at Ottawa, have won two games in a row for the first time since Dec. 4-6. They showed resilience in their comeback, with goals from Dylan Larkin, Joe Veleno, Jonatan Berggren, and David Perron (on the power play) in the second and third periods.

The Vancouver Canucks are the only other team to achieve this feat this season, with a 7-6 overtime victory against Montreal on Dec. 5.
