REPORT: Former Detroit Tigers World Series coach Alex Grammas dies

According to reports, former Detroit Tigers coach Alex Grammas has died at 93.

For those of you who watched the Tigers win the 1984 World Series, you likely remember that Grammas was the team’s third base coach.

Grammas was hired by Tigers manager Sparky Anderson and he spent 12 seasons in Detroit.
