Report: Michigan assistant linked to Rutgers head coach position

According to reports, Rutgers will not be able to reach an agreement to bring back Greg Shiano to become their next head coach.

Now, a report has surfaced that Rutgers could be trying to poach Michigan linebackers coach, Anthony Campanile.

Two reported backup candidates have direct ties to Michigan in current linebackers coach Anthony Campanileand former offensive assistant Jedd Fisch.

The pair of New Jersey natives were reported Sunday morning as “Plan B” for Rutgers in the case that a deal with Schiano were to fall through, according to NJ Advance Media
