Report: Michigan State’s Tom Izzo and Mel Tucker have salaries reduced

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Michigan State has announced a salary reduction plan, which will run for 12 months beginning on Sept. 1 of this year.

The plan includes a reduction in salaries for employees making $100,000 or more.

The plan also includes Spartans basketball coach Tom Izzo and Football coach Mel Tucker taking a 7% pay cut for the next year.
