FROM SUNDAY:
The Detroit Lions have been ultra-busy so far this offseason and they are not done yet as head coach Dan Campbell continues to put together what he believes will be a winning staff.
According to a report from Mike Garafolo, the Lions are interested in poaching Philadelphia Eagles RB Duce Staley, who is has asked to be released from his contract because he is disappointed he did not land the Eagles head coaching gig.
This would be another very nice hire for the Lions if they can make it happen.
Duce Staley and the #Eagles are in a weird spot. Lots of respect in a relationship that dates back to when they drafted him in 1997. But Staley is obviously disappointed he didn't get the head-coaching job. Has interest from the #Bears and #Lions. Feels it's best to move on. https://t.co/28WDmhVhZK
