Ever since the moment former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer announced he was retiring, there has been plenty of speculation as to when he would return as a head coach.
One of the most recent reports to surface is that the University of Texas is interested in hiring Meyer to take over their program.
Well, it sure sounds like the Longhorns’ dreams of landing Meyer has come to a screeching halt as Meyer has reportedly told Texas officials that he is not returning to coaching due to health reasons.
Can confirm earlier report by Horns247 that former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer told Texas officials he has chosen not to return to coaching for health reasons. Meyer told UT this weekend. UT source tells me and @BDavisAAS UT is still "sorting through" what to do next. https://t.co/qqSjlk5THV

Nation, do you think Meyer will eventually coach again or will he remain in the booth as a college football analyst?
