Super Bowl LI odds announced: Detroit Lions a long shot to win it all

Well, the Detroit Lions may have “backed in” to the NFL Playoffs, but they are in, which means they have a chance to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Since the Lions lost their final three games of the season, including the finale against the Green Bay Packers, they earned the No. 6 seed in the NFC and will play at Seattle in the Wild Card round.

Bovada.lv has released their odds for each playoff team winning Super Bowl LI and the Lions (+6600) are tied for the worst odds with the Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans, and Miami Dolphins. As you can see, the New England Patriots (+190) have the best odds to win it all.

*Note: +6600 means if you place a $100 wager on the Lions to win the Super Bowl and they come through, you would win $6600. In other words, 66-1 odds.

So, Lions fans, if you think this is a team of destiny, it’s time to make some cash!
