Today the MLB announced that it was slapping Detroit Tigers minor league pitcher, Tommy Collier, with a 50-game suspension, for his second positive drug of abuse test. Collier was an 11th round draft pick of the Tigers back in 2011. Last season with the AA-Erie team he went 9-7 with 4.20 ERA, two complete games, and 87 strikeouts in 130.2 innings pitched.
