UPDATE: Though Matthew Stafford was throwing while his teammates were stretching, he is not practicing on Wednesday.

On Sunday, Detroit Lions fans got a look at what the team would look like without Matthew Stafford at the quarterback position. Stafford, who reportedly has fractured bones in his back, was forced to miss the Lions Week 10 game against the Chicago Bears, a game the Lions ended up losing 20-13.

This coming Sunday, the Lions will look to bounce back when they take on the Dallas Cowboys at Ford Field.
On Wednesday, the Lions resumed practice and head coach Matt Patricia announced that five players would not be practicing.
Patricia said no Rick Wagner, Ty Johnson, Tracy Walker, Da'Shawn Hand or Romeo Okwara at practice today. That means Stafford will be in attendance, at least. We'll see how much he does

As you can see, Patricia did not mention Stafford when naming the players who would not be at Wednesday's practice.
It will be interesting to see how much Stafford does in today's practice and ultimately if he plays this week against the Cowboys.
If Stafford is unable to go against the Cowboys, backup Jeff Driskel would likely get his second-straight start.
