On Friday morning, the United States Women’s Soccer Team squared off against the Netherlands in the Olympic Quarterfinals and after the game was tied 2-2 after regulation time expired, the teams went to a penalty kick shootout.
When the penalty kick round was over, it was the United States who marched on to the Tokyo Olympic semifinals with a 4-2 shoot-out win.
The United States will play Canada in the semifinals.
