The Michigan State Spartans were able to get back into the win column on Saturday, taking down Rutgers with ease by a final score of 27-0.
They snapped a five game losing streak, getting their first W since taking down Indiana on September 28. For Rutgers, it was their 20th consecutive Big Ten loss.
Michigan State posted 395 total yards and quarterback Brian Lewerke finished 21-for-30 passing for 239 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
