The fans were shocked, Beilein’s assistants were shocked, and current and future players were shocked with the decision.

On Thursday, Beilein was at the NBA Combine and he spoke about leaving Michigan.

Earlier on Thursday, Michigan’s top recruit for the Class of 2019, Jalen Wilson announced that he requested his release from Michigan.
