I cannot tell you how excited I am to watch the Detroit Lions defensive line absolutely dominate in 2019. After adding Damon ‘Snacks’ Harrison midway through last season, the Lions’ rush defense went from garbage to great. Now, with additions like Mike Daniels and Trey Flowers, you can bet Matt Patricia is smiling every night when he goes to bed.
Will the Lions overall defense be considered “great?” I’m not ready to predict that quite yet, but I am ready to say that the rush defense will be the best in the NFL. Because of that, the Lions will be in just about every single game this coming season.
