Three teams have already inquired about RB Adrian Peterson since the Washington Football Team released him this morning, per source.
Peterson is 35, but fully intends to keep playing. Once the dust settles on cuts, the NFL’s No. 5 all-time rusher could have options.

On Friday, news broke that The Washington Football Team had made the shocking decision to release future Hall of Fame running back, Adrian Peterson.
According to reports, Peterson is not ready to retire and will look to land with another NFL franchise prior to Week 1.
As I have said, I am not 100% comfortable with the Detroit Lions current situation at running back. Kerryon Johnson has not been able to stay healthy (14 games missed in 2 seasons) since he was in diapers (exaggeration) and rookie D’Andre Swift has missed most of training camp with a leg injury. Not to mention, Swift dealt with multiple injuries in college, so there may be an issue there also.
