Offensive Line
The Detroit Lions need to improve their offensive line? Shocking. If I had a dollar for every time I have said/written that over the years, I would be able to quit my day job.
The Lions best player is QB Matthew Stafford and for him to play at his highest potential, he MUST have protection and he MUST have a running game. In 2016, that running game was non-existent once again as the Lions ran for just 81.9 yards per game, good for 30th in the league.

With Ameer Abdullah likely returning at 100% along with Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner, I believe the Lions do have a trio of backs who can be successful….IF they have a competent offensive line to block for them.
There is a chance the Lions lose both Larry Warford and Riley Reiff to free agency, which means they will definitely have some rebuilding to do, whether it be via free agency or the draft.
