97.1 The Ticket’s Mike Stone says Detroit Lions need an enema

When former Detroit Lions owner Martha Ford (and whoever else was involved) made the moronic decision to give Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn another year, despite finishing 3-12-1 in 2019, she told them that she expected them to contend for a playoff spot.

Now, Martha’s daughter Sheila Ford Hamp is the new owner of the team and she has yet to define exactly what “contend” means in her mind.

That being said, the Lions are off to a 3-5 start, and to be honest, I cannot imagine anyone thinking of that as the definition of the word “contend.”

So, if the Lions continue on this trajectory, it seems like a foregone conclusion that the Lions will have a new head coach in 2021. But should ownership go a step further and clean house?

One person who believes that should happen is Mike Stone (Stoney) from 97.1 The Ticket.

On Monday morning, Stoney said the Lions organization needs an “enema.”

“He (Matthew Stafford) needs a break, the Lions need a break. The Lions need a new general manger. The Lions need a new head coach. The Lions need an enema. They do. There’s nobody on this team that’s really really good. Who’s really really good? There’s nothing there,” Stone emphatically stated Monday morning on his popular morning show.

Nation, do you agree with Stoney? Do the Lions need an enema or should they just replace Patricia?
