With the No. 7 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions selected OT Penei Sewell out of Oregon.
On Wednesday, the Lions agreed to terms with Sewell on a four-year, $24,099,068 million fully guaranteed rookie deal. The deal, according to Ian Rapoport, includes a $14.88 million signing bonus. (Note: there have been a couple of different numbers floating around regarding the bonus)
Sewell, who recently revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19, is expected to be in town this week (per Dave Birkett)
