On Sunday, the Detroit Lions will square off against the Arizona Cardinals in what RB Adrian Peterson is calling a must-win game if the Lions are going to get back into the hunt.
According to the NFL transaction report, the Lions have decided not to elevate any players from the practice squad for their Week 3 matchup against the Cardinals.
With the Lions not elevating any players from the practice squad (they could have elevated up to two), they will roll with a 53-man roster. This means they will only have to list 5 players as inactive prior to the start of the game.
Desmond Trufant has already been downgraded to OUT but the thought is that Kenny Golladay and Halapoulivaati Vaitai, who are both listed as questionable, will both be able to play
No practice squad elevations listed on the transaction report for the Lions this week
