According to a report from Tom Pelissero, the Detroit Lions are opening the practice window on QB Tim Boyle, who has been on injured reserve since undergoing thumb surgery in late August.
As noted by Pelissero, the Lions will now have three weeks to activate Boyle from injured reserve.
