Detroit Lions war room reacts to Jags passing on Aidan Hutchinson [Video]

With the No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions stuck gold and landed EDGE Aidan Hutchinson out of Michigan.

The reason why the Lions were able to select Hutchinson, who was the top-ranked player in the draft according to many, was because the Jacksonville Jaguars decided to go with Travon Walker out of Georgia.

On Wednesday, the Lions released their latest ‘Inside the Den’ episode and it just so happened to be a behind-the-scenes look into the Lions’ NFL Draft War Room.

Here is the Lions’ War Room reaction to the Jaguars passing on Hutchinson.

Brad Holmes: “Let’s send it in. Any regrets? There is only one person on the board!”

Dan Campbell: “Hell yeah, man!”

Brad Holmes: “There is only one name up there, so that’s it!”

Aidan Hutchinson is ready to get to work with Detroit Lions

There has been plenty of hype surrounding Aidan Hutchinson and how he always gives 100% effort but he realizes that talk is talk and he is ready to get to work.

“Yeah, it’s great. This is what I do at the end of the day,” Hutchinson told reporters Saturday following a practice session at Detroit’s rookie minicamp. “All that talk, I hate the talk. It’s been a lot of months of talking, lot of rah-rah, but now we’re out here getting the work in, which is what I do.”

Hutchinson added that he is “inspired” to make the Lions a winning franchise but it is going to be a team effort.

“I definitely feel inspired to get this team going again, but, again, it’s not just me,” Hutchinson said. “It’s going to be a group effort. It’s going to take all guys on this team to get this team back to winning. So, you know, if I can be a piece of that, I’d love to.”

Folks, this is gonna be fun!
