On Saturday, the Detroit Tigers took care of business in Game 1 of their doubleheader vs. the Houston Astros but they were not able to hang on in Game 2 as the two teams split the day.
Following the game, the Tigers announced they have optioned INF Isaac Paredes to Triple-A Toledo as INF Zack Short will remain on the 26-man active roster.
Short was called up to be the Tigers emergency 27th man on Saturday and after hitting his first career home run in Game 1, he will be sticking around a bit longer.
Following the second game of today’s doubleheader, the Tigers optioned INF Isaac Paredes to Triple A Toledo.
INF Zack Short will remain on Detroit’s 26-man active roster.
