It’s going to be a celebration for Miguel Cabrera at Comerica Park.
The future Hall of Fame slugger blasted his 500th career home run this afternoon against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, becoming the 28th player in MLB history to accomplish the feat.
Shortly afterwards, the Tigers announced that their home game on September 24 will be “Miggy Celebration Day” as they welcome the Kansas City Royals:
