On Thursday night, Detroit Tigers SP Casey Mize made a rehab start for the Toledo Mud Hens to say things did not go as planned would be a severe understatement.
In fact, Mize's rehab star lasted just two-thirds of an inning.
During that inning, Mize gave up three hits, a three-run home run and he hit a batter. In all, he threw 29 pitches with 16 of those being strikes.
The Tigers previously placed Mize on the 10-day Injured List (April 15) with a right elbow sprain after just two starts.

Let's hope this was just a blip on the radar and that Mize can work himself back to the Tigers in the not too distant future.
