If I would have told you before the season that we would be without Ameer Abdullah, Theo Riddick, Darius Slay for multiple games, Ziggy Ansah for multiple games, and a banged up offensive line, would you have said we would go 9-7 and make the playoffs?????
Oh, and that Stafford would play the last 3 games with torn ligaments in a finger on his throwing hand……

I predicted us to get in as the 6 seed, said it before the season. They lived up to my expectations. I do not expect them to go on the road and beat Seattle You do, I guess.

Dallas didn’t have anything to play for, they literally were toying with us. Green bay and New York both suck also. The Lions made the playoffs because other teams dropped the ball not on the lions own merit. That’s not success. It’s pathetic.
How many other NFC playoff teams think they have a shot at the Super Bowl this year? How many can make a case? You know what the answer is?
All of them except the Lions! Every. Single. One.

Like I said before, If we had (hypothetically) lost to Dallas in Week 3, New York in Week 7 and Green Bay in Week 11 and finished 9-7 and made the playoffs, you would be fine.
But instead they were all at the end of the season. You have to look at the season as a whole.

I think we are an average team at best who did what they needed to do to get in the playoffs. The Packers were the better team (you said they sucked) and deserved to win the North.
We are one of the worst teams this season. You were debating putting us 12th out of 12 teams that made it in, yet you are trying to say we should have won the division!

I’ve never disputed how inept we are. I said all year, “average team with an elite quarterback.” We should’ve won the division because we were GIVEN the division. It doesn’t make us a good team.

No, we were not. I told you that 5 weeks ago. But you disagreed. You said it would be over before Week 17. I told you the Packers would win out and we would lose out. But you disagreed. I was 100% on the money.
What I love is that most thought we would lose @ NY, most thought we would lose @ Dallas, and most thought we would lose to GB. Then when we did, people go crazy!
Here is what you are missing. They lived up to my expectations because I knew exactly what they were heading into the season. If you had higher expectations for a team that ONLY has Stafford, then it’s on you. I do not expect everyone to have the same feelings as I do.

They’re BARELY better. The margin is thin because they suck too. Dallas had nothing to play for. These aren’t teams the lions had no chance of beating. They win that new York game 4/10 times. Dallas 3/10 the pack at home is a coin flip
