On Thursday night, San Jose Sharks star Joe Thornton did something you do not see very often in the NHL when he knocked Carolina Hurricanes goalie Petr Mrazek to the ice with a single punch.

Watch as Mrazek gets irritated and goes after Thornton after he tried to knock the puck out of his glove. As you can see, Thornton was up for the challenge and dropped the former Detroit Red Wings goalie to the ice with one punch.
