Some unfortunate news to pass along this afternoon.
Former Michigan State player and assistant coach and former NFL assistant coach and head coach Henry “Hank” Bullough passed away over the weekend at the age of 85.
Condolences to the Bullough family on patriarch Henry’s passing over the weekend at age 85. A true all time Spartan great in many ways and an icon in MSU football history.

He played at Michigan State from 1951 to 1954, helping them to the Rose Bowl in his final year as a player. He then served as an assistant with the Spartans from 1959 to 1969.
He then served as linebackers coach for the then-Baltimore Colts. He's credited with helping to bring the 3-4 defense to the NFL while serving as defensive coordinator for the New England Patriots.
He later served in the same role for the Green Bay Packers.
