The Detroit Lions added to their offensive attack during the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, using their second round selection on former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver De’Andre Swift.
With 6.6 yards per carry, Swift broke the school record that was originally held by Todd Gurley. Not bad company to be in. In fact, NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein went so far as to say that Swift has “Offensive Rookie of the Year potential.”
Prior to the selection, Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos had this to say about Swift:
Now that Swift is in Amos’ division, we’re sure hoping that he’ll be a thorn in Green Bay’s side!
