Lions’ CB Darius Slay engages in Twitter back-and-forth with Detroit radio host

During Sunday’s 20-13 loss to the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions cornerback Darius Slay was forced to leave the game with what he said was a toe injury.

While the game was going on, Detroit radio show host Michael Stets of WJR took to Twitter to point out that Slay is not a shutdown cornerback like so many like to label him.

Following the game, it did not take Slay too long to see Stets’ tweet and respond.

Stets responded to Slay, respectfully doubling down on his original tweet.
