Michigan State‘s Mel Tucker had two signature wins during the 2020 season in his first year as head coach in East Lansing, and now he has a signature off-field win.

Already ranked No. 155 overall player and No. 11 outside linebacker nationally in the 2021 class, Gaoteote becomes Michigan State’s highest rated recruit.
“I love him. He loves football. He’s aggressive. He’s got great instincts. He’s physical. And he loves Michigan State,” Tucker said on Big Ten Network. “He wants to be here. He wants to play physical, hard-nosed football and that’s what we’re all about here. He fits our culture.”
And speaking of Spartans culture, Gaoteote is already embracing the rivalry with the Michigan Wolverines.
“Just coach Tuck and wanting to be a part of the best program,” he said. “I want us to run the Big Ten, ’cause they already own Michigan.”
He’s ready to go in East Lansing!
