This coming Sunday, the Detroit Lions will have their hands full when they hit the road to take on the Tennessee Titans.
But what would really make things difficult is if the Lions do not have Matthew Stafford under center.
On Sunday, Stafford suffered a rib injury during the fourth quarter of the Lions’ loss to the Green Bay Packers, causing him to be sidelined for the remainder of the game.
Following the game, Lions interim head coach Darrell Bevell told media members that Stafford was having X-rays completed but that there was no further update.
A day later, Bevell spoke to the media and he had some good news to report as Stafford’s X-rays came back negative.
That being said, Bevell also noted that the Lions will “take it to the end of the week” with Stafford before making a decision for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans.

Stafford is a warrior but according to earlier reports, he is dealing with a lot of pain and it will be interesting to see if he can give it a go this weekend.
