A protest is currently going on in downtown Detroit and as you can see below, members of the Detroit Pistons are in attendance and showing their support. The protest, of course, it in response to the social injustice and police brutality that has been taking place in our country for many years.
Included are Pistons head coach Dwane Casey, assistant coach Micah Nori, Luke Kennard, Svi Mykhailiuk, and Brandon Knight.
Casey said that the idea to join the protest came about during a Zoom call with players.

#Pistons coach Dwane Casey said the idea of coming to today's peaceful protest came from a Zoom call with players. They wondered how they could be more vocal and be part of the community and Casey suggested coming to downtown Detroit for the protest.
