2022 will mark the 100th season for the Michigan hockey program and in order to honor that, a new center ice logo has been put in at Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor, MI.
On Monday, Wolverines head coach Mel Pearson tweeted out a photo of the new logo and as you can see below, it is pretty clean.
Ice is back in ! Looks awesome . A big “Thank You” to the staff at Yost .

Not including Wilf Martin, who only coached two games in 1980, the Wolverines have had just 8 coaches in 100 years of hockey.
In their storied history, Michigan has been to the Frozen Four on 26 occasions and they have won a whopping nine National Championships.
