By now, you have almost certainly heard about the disgusting scene that took place on Saturday night at Michigan Stadium following Michigan‘s dominating 29-7 win over Michigan State. Following the game, a group of Spartan players was caught on video assaulting at least one Wolverine player in the tunnel leading to the locker rooms. On Sunday night, Spartans head coach Mel Tucker announced that four players had been suspended.
Which Michigan State football players have been suspended?
According to the statement from Mel Tucker that was released just moments ago, Tank Brown, Khary Crump, Angelo Grose, and Zion Young have been suspended for their involvement in Saturday’s assault at the Big House.
Tucker added that he and Michigan State University are currently working with law enforcement to evaluate the events, including further, but not limited to, additional student-athlete participation in the altercation and contributing factors. Tucker noted that the suspensions of the four players listed above would remain in place until the investigations are completed.
